Outdoor Classroom

Our Outdoor Classroom provides children with meaningful opportunities to engage with carefully planned activities linked to books and themes. Children are encouraged to investigate, explore and engage with the world around them in a hands on practical way . The sessions are designed to support communication , team work, problem solving and independence whilst nurturing curiosity and creativity. Activities may include storytelling, nature-based learning, creative tasks and physical challenges all tailored to meet the needs and interest of our learners. Our children love their outdoor classroom sessions and will often ask when their sessions are and how many days it is until their next one. Mrs Bagshaw Dundon and Mrs Goodwin lead the sessions and are very passionate about how learning outdoors helps all our learners to shine and succeed.
